The brief

Our client lives in the village of Collier’s End in rural Hertfordshire. He was in the process of completely redesigning his garden, and wanted a smart, contemporary outdoor kitchen to suit the space.

Design considerations

The client wanted seating, a Chef's Anvil, a gas barbeque and an outdoor fridge incorporated into the outdoor kitchen. There was both a length and height restraint: The kitchen had to fit between the house wall the the steps down from the raised patio, and had to fit under the kitchen windowsill. We designed the kitchen to neatly fit into the length available whilst retaining a planter at both ends - a desirable visual flourish that neatly finishes off a section. And we shortened our iroko uprights to work within the height of the windowsill.

The installation was fast and simple, thanks in part to a very smooth patio. As always, we included a full range of accessories, from the logs and crates to barbeque utensils, beer for the fridge and some wine for the rack! Click here for our installation requirements.
